ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Deborah Slappey Pitts is the multi-award-winning author of Shadow Living…Paintings of Grief and I Feel Okay, is a national bestseller that gives a heart-wrenching account of love, loss, and inspiration. A native of Americus, Georgia, Pitts’ mission is to bring awareness to the amyloidosis diseases and the physiological and psychological effects of the grieving process. Pitts has two sons and resides in Columbus, Georgia with her husband, Marshall Pitts.
